The couple who run the place were super welcoming, and the room was clean and cozy with plenty of towels. I loved relaxing by the lovely garden and enjoyed the beautiful breakfast spread. The only downside was that the parking could’ve been a bit better, but overall it was a great stay! 😊

Disappointing Experience with Unhelpful Staff
We had a tough time navigating the numerous stairs due to my mother's arthritis. No assistance offered from staff, which left us frustrated. Thankfully, the area is beautiful, but not ideal for those needing mobility support.

Cozy stay with fab food!
Had a lovely 2-night stay. The folks at the place were super welcoming. We hit pie night on Wednesday and wow, the food was top-notch. The bed was comfy too, perfect for a short getaway. Just wish there was a bit more parking available but we got by. All in all, a solid experience!

perfect base for exploring parks and charming landmarks
We spent two lovely nights in a deluxe double room and found it to be a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Baldersby Park just a 20-minute walk away and the fascinating World of James Herriot a short drive, which offered so much to see and do. the only downside was there was no place to put my soap in the shower, which ended up wasting a lot of hot water due to soap management.
